Heart of Gold, KGH Foundation's signature fundraising gala, soared 'above and beyond', raising revenues of more than a million dollars. Four hundred guests gathered for an unforgettable evening of divine décor, sumptuous food, world-class entertainment and the inspiring stories of patients and their surgeons.
Sparkling Hill Resort Grand Opening
Sparkling Hill Resort and Spa - the award winning European-inspired hotel and wellness resort - opened its door in 2010 with a lavish party for a select number of invited guests. Guests were treated to an elegant evening of fine dining, over-the-top entertainment and dancing through the night. A midnight buffet included Austrian-style pastries and a fire show.
Grant Thornton 5k Run in Colour
On a beautiful, sunny morning in September, almost 800 runners were streaked, spotted and speckled as they ran five kilometers to the finish line in a unique paint race to celebrate health, happiness and individuality. Grant Thornton was the title sponsor of the running race that raised funds for the KGH Foundation.
